I can also report my camera shows a yellowish hue post-update. The video playback is also broken, always directs you to Live View... Not sure how such firmware can be released.

hi @Gusfmm and welcome to the forum.

it appears amcrest has a solution to the false firmware update notification.

@Gusfmm Hello and welcome to the Forum

I am not sure why or what happened but mine was showing a Purplish color to the camera for the first couple of days.. Odd thing is that I reset the camera doorbell at the camera and for the next day the problem was still there. Then today the strange colors are no longer there and I have not done anything different or made any changes to the doorbell camera...

I don't know if you did a Factory reset at the camera or not but I would give that a Try and see if that makes your color issue go away.. Like I said for some strange reason after update and reset the color issue was there for a day or less...

Happy to say that the issue with FW update being offered even though we had the right one loaded is gone..
Be Safe.

Long time BI user, first time user of this model. I've had 2 of these (returned the first one) and I'm having an issue post firmware update where the doorbell no longer rings (mechnical), connects for calls, or sends doorbell notification. The camera is working perfectly fine in BI and the app controls other settings correctly. With both cameras these issues have only started once I upgraded to this firmware.

I really regret updating the FW because both the App and Camera were working. No one else is having issues with the call feature post updates?

Factory reset does nothing to improve the situation, same problems.

hi @catboxer and welcome to the forum. it appears your blue iris must have inadvertently modified the doorbell's configuration. the doorbell is designed to work with the smart home app and you're not suppose to use any third party app's control with the doorbell. my suggestion is to temporarily remove the doorbell from bi and perform a hard reset and set up the doorbell with the smart home app as your baseline. add back to bi but only for recording and don't touch any of the bi app control because it may be corrupting the doorbell configuration.

@Revo2Maxx Thanks for the suggestion. In parallel, I'd written to Amcrest's support and they suggested the same thing. Bit annoying having to go through the hard reset process, but it ultimately did correct the hue issue.

However, I still experience the camera not recording video onto the microSD card any longer. No suggested solution from Amcrest received, yet.

Upon triggering a motion detection event, it does get reported by the Smart Home app, but when you tap on it to view the recorded video, it doesn't show it but only gives you the option to "live View". Checking the SD card content on the App shows no recorded video. My NVR does record video for every detection event though, so it is obviously something associated with recording to the SD card locally on the AD110. Curious as to whether I am the only one experiencing this?

Updated to the latest firmware 1.000.00ac004.0.r.200509 and I can no longer view videos (new or old) on the SD card. It tries to load and gets anywhere from 70% to 99% then displays "Play error, click to refresh". Annoyed.

I can still do live view just fine which seems odd.

Anyone else seeing this? I have not rebooted the doorbell yet. Does the app need an update as well?

My app does not show the new settings like the change of the target area for motion from read to blue.

I wonder if I need to update the app? Mine is version 3.3.6 on Android.

The current version of the Amcrest SmartHome Android app is 3.5.0, released June 1, 2020 on Google Play.

I've had the live video lock up at 99% with a blank view before, and it was due to trying to configure the doorbell via the Amcrest HTTP API. Others have had the same issue using software other than SmartHome to configure the AD110. Updating the firmware shouldn't do this, but whatever - a Factory Reset should hopefully solve it - but first, update the app!

Ok, will update the app. I've never used any other software with the doorbell, so I doubt thats the issue. I was wondering if the app and the firmware were synced in some way to cause this. Thanks.
