this latest firmware has added more magenta color to the picture. picture looked so much warmer in the past. there is an option to configure wide dynamic range but picture appears less grainy with this feature off.

i have a mechanical indoor chime and linking it as a mechanical chime didn't work in the past; it works today with the default 3s. linking it as a digital chime with 3s also works.

my night vision setting remains on auto and it does not night vision cycle at night. the 'connection to network' at night is a result of the doorbell not getting enough current due to high resistance either the transformer is too far from the doorbell or it needs thicker wires to reduce resistance.

I never use IR, I have enough outside light that IR is not needed. So, do you think I might be able to use my tune playing chime with enough time to play a few seconds of the tune?

I am sure as long as it falls within the 10 second area... I am guessing they made some work out of the time that the Relay holding the power will latch and maybe with more then 10 seconds was good but for the people that might be on smaller power then they should be might have problems if over 10 seconds so they used 10 as the threshold... I know that I turned off the power to it once, was able to return to the front door and push button and had about 3 seconds of access on phone time before it was offline... I am going to guess with Full charge CAPS the camera will stay running a good min before discharged...
Mine stays on Color full time because I changed out my porch led for larger led 12w to make it so it wouldn't cycle because I live in area where cars coming down road light hit it and would turn back to color once they left b/w no power issues just loads of messages.. SO I changed the bulb no issue I just wanted to mention the Auto and off was tricky in my last post because it don't stay off after reboot...

SO I would again say if 10 seconds if enough time to power your system to play your tone then I would go for it.. Seems solid to me I dont know that the update had anything to do with the shut down seeing there was some people on the older FW and app that had issues as well..
