It looks like I'm having the same problem as Stevecccc. Those settings are getting lost for me as well, and I realized that it is happening whenver I, or the recording software(iSpyConnect) try to access the camera using the URL http://192.168.45.67/cgi-bin/mjpg/video.cgi
Is there some other URL that we are supposed to be using when trying to access a stream using h.264 so that the settings don't revert when we do?

Re: IP2M-841B Settings keep getting lost
im having the same problem however it changes my smtp settings, and my motion detect settings and the time and date revert back to 1-1-2000.
funny how it remembers some of my settings but restores others to out of the box settings.
i am getting frustrated with this and no answers on the forum so far that i could find. i am also not using the cloud so there is nothing to blame there.
i am so ready to call and have them tap in to my system and have a look see. i dont think its me.
i have 2 cameras hooked up and cam 2 is fine so far. i have a few other minor issues im working on but this one with the lost settings is a major one.
tech help needed

Re: IP2M-841B Settings keep getting lost
My camera recorded nothing for the past few days because, once again, the Setup > Storage > Record Control > Disk Full setting gets changed from "Overwrite" to "Stop"
This makes absolutely no sense since "Overwrite" is the default!!!

Re: IP2M-841B Settings keep getting lost
So I just wanted to see how long it would take Amcrest to reply to this thread and tell us when the "Settings getting lost" issue will be resolved or at least acknowledged - so I waited and waited and waited and waited - and guess what STILL NO REPLY after over one week since the last post and 4 weeks since the original post. Unbelievable is all I can say. This thread was even mentioned in the "Customer Support and Forum Answers" thread which complained about Amcrest not replying or coming up with solutions to issues - and still no response.
Re: IP2M-841B Settings keep getting lost
Hi all,
This issue is directly related to the settings for the camera in Amcrest Cloud. The settings in the Amcrest cloud has preference over the settings on the web interface. So any changes you make on the web interface would be overwritten by the cloud. We understand this has some limitation and we will be looking into it. As of now, if you use Amcrest cloud, make sure you set the correct settings for the camera through the cloud.

Re: IP2M-841B Settings keep getting lost
That may be true for some settings, but the settings of mine that are getting lost, mainly Setup > Storage > Record Control > Disk Full, aren't available in the cloud.
Re: IP2M-841B Settings keep getting lost
Yes, please read what people are complaining about. As previously written in this post (see below) , settings that are getting overlaid are not available in the Cloud:

The settings that are getting "lost" for me are FPS (frames per second), Bit Rate and the Overlay/Time settings. I checked the Cloud Edit Camera settings and those options are not available in the Cloud settings so they couldn't be getting overlaid from the (user changing settings in the) cloud. I enter the settings, save them and then anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour later they have reverted back to the original settings. Very frustrating!

Re: IP2M-841B Settings keep getting lost
Seems like some cameras are ok and some others are getting this issue, even without any cloud. Time for somebody in official support to answer.

Add me to the list of customers having this problem
Re: IP2M-841B Settings keep getting lost
I'm also experiencing this problem. I'm trying to change my video settings but it always reverts to 25 fps. I'd like to set it to 30 fps and increase the quality but it won't stick. I don't want to delete my cloud account as I use the remote cloud access feature quite frequently.
Hopefully this is fixed soon!
