IP2M-841B Settings keep getting lost

I'm having the same date time issue not saving. I synch to the PC and save the settings in the web access program menu, however, eventually the date and time settings will revert back to 1-1-2000 and puts me in the GMT +8 time zone, so I'm unable to play back recordings etc. until I go back in and re-synch the time and date. I've even tried checking the box synch with NTP server, but that really seems to throw things off. Like many have posted before, this seems to have nothing to do with the "Cloud" settings, though my time zone is set correctly on the Cloud settings page.

Add me to the list of folks having the time/date reset to 1-1-2000. When this happens, which is every few hours, it causes my push notifications on the Pro app to cease and also my schedule for motion detection recording to cease. I have the IP2M-841B and am using a SD card for storage, not the cloud. I don't have the firmware version handy at the moment, but I did update it when I got the camera a couple of weeks ago.

Add me here as well. Overlay seems to disappear every night. Other posts indicate the cloud overwriting. If that's true - why not make these options available there too?

Please indicate if you are using the amcrest cloud.

I continued to have problems with the time/date resetting to the year 2000 and losing the time/date overlay even after I removed the camera from the amcrest cloud, however, the resets didn't seem as frequent. There seems to be no link between the cloud and the loss of settings.

I'm also getting annoyed by this problem. How can you remove a camera from the cloud?

But seriously why isnt there a setting somewhere to select which setting is the preferred one instead of assuming the amcrestcloud.com settings have priority?

I have the same issue, bought 2 of these cameras, 1 doesnt give me any problems with its wireless settings, the other loses its wireless settings a a day or 2. I had to set it up 3 times and is down agin. there has to be a fix for this.

I would factory reset the camera after you take it out of the Amcrest cloud. I can confirm the two are related and once I did this I had no more issues with the settings.

My camera loses its overlay settings. I'll enable the date/time overlay, but it only lasts for about a day, then it disappears. I don't know why.
