Yes as long as your system is setup with NON poe cameras.. If they are on a POE NVR then only the NVR can be accessed any camera that is on the front side of the NVR can be accessed the same way as the NVR..
So say your Network is
10.0.120.2-255
Your NVR POE
is 10.0.1.65-xx sadly unless you have your system setup with a Virtual Host and Port Numbers only the 10.0.120.2-254 will be able to have setup to ASP..
Out side of this. There would need to be some Virtual Host setup in the NVR and it would be like 10.0.1.65:001 or some other format that was setup at the NVR level if able in that NVR FW as my POE NVR don't have that option.. Some however do...

If I could log in with web view it would be perfect.

Re: Remote connection
I notice in ASP device cfg I have no web icon like my main house. Wonder if something is not set on nvr in second house. Getting real close to making this work, I can get on with the serial number but not the ip address?
Re: Remote connection
Morning Revo2Maxx
one thing that happens when logging on nvr with serial number is the web icon is missing under Device Cfg -Maintenace-Web. Can I fix this problem? Why is it easy to log on with serial number and not the ip address. Is there more info I need to enter to make this work? Thanks for any help and suggestions, one think good out of this is I'm learning more how to use ASP.

Re: Remote connection
I am not sure to be honest.. I will say that I have had in all my locations a Static IP for each and used to connect that way but Since I started use P2P I have not looked back.. While setting up a remote connection isn't that hard it is beyond the scope of most and fastest and best way is P2P any info that needs changed while away from the Remote location I just keep that info in a camera log and make changes next time I am in that location..
However if you Prefer to access your camera NVR remote over DDNS or Static Ip
https://www.instructables.com/Connect-Y ... DVR-or-NV/
Personally I would keep with P2P less issues I have to worry about

Re: Remote connection
Thanks Revo2Maxx
Only problem I see with P2P is I can't get into the web part in maintenace. When I log into my home system with ip it has the web icon in maintenace, P2P it is missing.

Re: Remote connection
If your working with a POE NVR it i will not matter if there is a E or Not.. However there is 1 thing you need to note if your not working with a POE NVR and you want access to any camera in your lineup that is on normal Network it will need a Port Forwarding and such as well. Then the best thing to do is look at setting up a Tunnel into your network so when you connect to your network it will be just like your there.. Just keep in mind with Networking and keeping your network as 1 if your network speed is slow you can have issues... More things on the Network more issues that can come up...

Re: Remote connection
Thanks again for all your help Revo2Maxx
I will keep it at P2P so I can view the cameras. If I need to change something I will do it next time I'm there. Again Thank You for all your help on this forum, lot of good people here helping others.
