NVR firmware update experiences

I talked to tech support again last week in a effort to keep from sending NVR in for replacement. They suggested to proceed with RMA. So I sent NVR4108E non HS to Amcrest last week. I'll let you know if any thing changes when I get the replacement back. So far the NV4108E-HS is still working.

I gave up on any new firmware fixes for my nv4108. Built a blue iris server and it's working perfectly

I applied the NVR firmware update (2/6/18) for the NV4108 and so far it's looking good. When will the remote fix be available for NV4432E, NV4116E-HS and NV2116??? (the last two models are not even listed in the firmware page).

Those NVR firmwares will be made available on the website soon. But the remote playback issue was affected by NV4108 only I believe.

Remote playback was definitely affected by last year's firmware update on the NV4432E (high end), NV4116E-HS and NV2116 models. Playback constantly freezes and jumps frames. It's not a bandwidth issue since I pay for the symmetric gigabit internet on both source and destination sites. The NV4108 model was having the same issue but was fixed with the latest firmware.
