NVR firmware update experiences

Melvin, please provide the estimate time for the new firmware to be available. Also, please make sure the fix is available for all NVR models. I have the NV4108, NV4432e NV4116e and NV2116.

Here is one of the issues I'm dealing with since upgrading firmware on my 4108 nvr.
When snapshot pictures do playback through the view Pro app on my phone,this is what they look like. the snapshots are so so fragmented it's useless. I really hope im amcrest releases updated soon to fix this and a lot of other issues in this thread. if not the NVR is going in the trash and I'm going to build a blue iris server.

Did firmware update on NV4108E having same play back issues. Has anyone heard of any updates yet? Amcrest should offer free cloud base storage until this issue is resolved.

Amcrest, can you provide a status update on the new firmware? I saw that placeholders have been added to the NVR firmware page but some of the newer models are missing from the list.

Has a new firmware update been released? Has anyone come up with a possible work around or solution? Can the Amcrest camera work on another brand of DVR? Has anyone tried the new NV4108E-HS just wondering if it has the same issues?

I wish I had read all this before buying the NV4108. I was forced to upgrade and now nothing.

Amcrest whined about Foscam and then broke away - now they seem to be worse! I called tech support and they said - I'll send you some instructions and hung up! Wooooo this going back tomorrow - what a piece of garbage!
The version which does not work for me is 3.215

I'm off to rate this on Amazon.

I received a firmware update this morning for my NV4108-HS. I didn’t have any issues updating.

Can you playback video why NOT on same network as NVR? I have the NV4108E non HS after firmware update video would start but wouldn't play.
