You can update FW by using the IP program from Amcrest as listed in the picture above that I posted... IP Config.. When you bring up your camera, you will be able to make changes as long as you know the Pass and user name... Once a good FW is installed things can go back to working right...
make sure you are using the right FW for your camera.. If it is international camera use INTR FW if it is normal then make sure it is the right one.. If it isn't it might not let it go though anyway.. Also the POE 841 is on a different FW then the normal 841 and so on....

Got on a call with Amcrest support and downloaded the Config tool from Amcrest.com site (Software downloads). Thanks! All Set.

Hi, sorry for a late reply.
I have just logged in and have seen your message. I guess the problem with your IP2M-841is now resolved. However, I reply anyway for record and reference. Please refer to the message posted above by Revo2Maxx » Sun Jun 28, 2020 7:48 pm and follow the steps advised. You need to use Amcrest IP config to search for your device on your network, select the camera with the problem and then login with relevant login and password. One more thing, you might need to change the default settings to point to your the correct IP for your network in order to find your available devices.
Hope this helps. Cecile M
