That's interesting. Of course I tried it out immediately.

The browser also shows me the timeline, but it comes the message "IE no longer supported. Please use Google Chrome " and no recordings are shown to me.

With the Chrome extension everything is then as it should be, but the error described in my first post happens.

By the way, on the following photo you can see that e.g. the red marked shots are not considered in the display.

Interesting..

So I had to search but found some of my 841's with newer FW on it as I said most of them either are on older now or a couple of newer just some of them are on POE NVR's so I don't have cards and it was a PITA to find one.. What I find interesting is I have a 841 that does work on both IE and Chrome and when I went to look at the new FW on the page of FW at Amcrest the one I have isn't even listed they only have a newer one and the one from 2019 and sorry the 2019 one is Problematic to start with... Now because of all my POE cameras I needed to update some of the MSD cards I wasn't able to find one with a card. All my POE cameras are not easy to take down or remove MSD so I took the one out of my Amcrest Car Cam and installed in this 841. I would maybe contact Amcrest and see if they can send you the link to V2.420.AC00.18.R, Build Date: 2020-02-17.. There might be a reason they removed it and or don't offer it anymore but if there isn't then I would ask for it as I can use IE and Chrome

Not sure I understand your last post about the red white and blue. I mean they all look like they were motion events and are in your list and timeline not sure what is up with colors of the times but I guess I would need to see more info of how you have it setup in the WebUI...

I guess I should have asked. However I didn't and thought I better. While there are people out there that will say they never do blah blah blah. I thought I would check to see if after installing the Update to JS from a NON JS format did you Reset the Camera back to factory? While it might be true peopel can go on after a Update without a Reset however because of the 2 different type of Files systems there is a case that could be made where the older fw didn't get 100% cleaned out on FW update and the Device would or Could work better after doing a Factory Reset either by button *Best option* or by software..

@PPenet
Look through these playback instructions to see if it could help you get your ASP playback working.  Amcrest Surveillance Pro is basically the same as SmartPSS.

So there are some strange things that is for sure when it comes to playing back footage from remote area over IP however please understand if you setup your connection with your SN it will not playback Locally or Remote. So need to make sure your connection is ViA IP to play back.

So before I made some testing with one of my cameras. I did it local I then setup in my V3 space because the V3 was logging out constantly and needed to find out why seeing my MSD was full I formatted it as that has been an issue in the past but that didn't work. So I just moved my normal to it's spot so I can bench test the 841v3.

Found that the recordings that I made on my Desk while testing worked out fine Talking about my normal 841 now, I can play them back after some Verbiage being displayed about finding first part of the footage or what ever it was. Then after I moved it I tried to play it back and it fails for the first hour or so of the footage. Then it starts to work again as I also back notice that it was in Full time color mode so I fixed and it has no issue after about the first hour after the move.. So in the first picture is of my 841 playing while still in color at night so you can see logo and time just no picture as there is no light out there only IR in the FOV of the camera.. Second Picture is back some where the error is and this is from playing after the move to start.. Then the last 2 are from area that does play but it brings up these 2 screens of text before it plays.. However for me playing back in WebUI for the camera in IE there is little to no delay and plays back all areas that is able to be played back for some reason there is some bad data after the move not sure why..

@Revo2Maxx
(Sorry for replying to PM here, but I am not authorized to PM here)

Thank you for the file.
For which camera version does the firmware fit?
I have the IPM-721B and the IP2M-841B.
Can something bad happen if the version does not fit my Kamra?

Exactly as in the instructions you mentioned I did it, but unfortunately it does not work.
The recordings are either only partially displayed or not at all.

Did the following again:
- Update of the filmware to the latest version
- Hardware reset
- Reformatted the SD card with the camera
- Made five small recordings with the motion detection

Then I made the following screen video of the behavior of Amcrest-Web-View:
https://my.hidrive.com/lnk/ACiCi4jO

You can see nicely that some shots are displayed correctly, but some are not. On the next run, recordings that were skipped before are displayed correctly.

Little info on my last post:
Looked again at a camera that has a lot more shots stored on it. It always plays the first shot, then skips three, plays one, skips three again, and so on.
Also the firmware version V2.420.AC00.18.R.20191218 shows this error pattern.
