Yup..
With Wifi disabled, the camera is still accessible via the address assigned via the wifi. I have 6 of them and they all behave the same.
Same MAC, two IP addresses.
You can test it yourself. Worked on the previous firmware as well.
Dual IPs on IP3M-HX2, Wifi not disabling
Re: Dual IPs on IP3M-HX2, Wifi not disabling
Is that with WiFi disabled AND with the ethernet cable disconnected from the camera ?

Re: Dual IPs on IP3M-HX2, Wifi not disabling
That is Strange because I have both Old and new FW and the Mac Addresses are different between IP for Wifi and Cable port. I am going to guess that you have something setup for Vlan or Mirroring in a switch maybe? Would love to see a Screen shot of this myself.. In mine first 6 numbers are the same that is the Amcrest Mac ID... The last 6 is the Personal ID of the camera ports....
You running a Manageable switch with your Network?
Strange for sure...

Re: Dual IPs on IP3M-HX2, Wifi not disabling
Well, i decided to try this. It took 10 min.
Test: WIFI disabled, and two IPs going to the same wired camera MAC. Both IPs work. Unhooked ethernet cable and neither IP works. Hooked up ethernet cable and both IPs work. I saw no problem.
Camera label shows it has two MACs. I suppose if wifi is enabled and cable attached, you could switch between wifi and wired by changing default setting. I didn't try that.

Strange because that is a copy and past from my Router only thing I did change is the last 10 digits on the SN of my cameras. However the way it is setup... the 1st and 3rd in the list is same camera and 2nd and 4th is the same camera. You can see they all have the same Mac # to start out first 6 however the last 6 even if same in 1 of the 3 slots as a whole they are different Mac Addresses...
However that is with Wifi Enabled on both. When I turn off Wifi Both Cameras IP for Wifi turn off in my router pool and is un reachable...

Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
However as stated before if I don't have Wifi setup in my Router to start with and have wifi in the camera enabled and setup up with a Static IP... I can access both ips over cable. Take out cable no connection to either... Not sure what the worry is really... I will say using the Wifi IP even with the Cable plugged in did have some lag and acts little strange lol. But did work...
Then this About the HX2 so that might be why there is difference with same Mac Different Ip... My testing was on New and old FW 841's... Still odd though lol..
