Re: Email Date and Time is Wrong
The latest ip2m841 firmware is on the website, dated 9/9/2016. It works for me.

Melvin,
Please email to me.
Please email to me.
Re: Email Date and Time is Wrong
I tried the "new" firmware. It breaks the wifi.
Re: Email Date and Time is Wrong
I had the same issues with wrong date and time when receiving email for motion detection. I discovered it was a problem when using the email client Thunderbird. When I switched to Microsoft Mail that resolved the issue. Hope this helps.
Re: Email Date and Time is Wrong
Same here. Also, it's definitely not the email client.supa wrote:I tried the "new" firmware. It breaks the wifi.
Re: Email Date and Time is Wrong
I have an IP3M-943. The latest software update still puts an incorrect time offset in the email header. The video time is correct. The latest camera software update has the correct time with the incorrect offset in the email header. It looks like it is not accounting for DST when building the email header. I am in the Eastern US time zone (-0500). Currently the camera email software is using that value instead of the correct -0400 DST offset. Depending on the computer client software it may or may not display the correct value.
I reported this to the crackerjack Amcrest Support group and was told that they would send me an RMA to replace the camera!
For the present time I am ignoring the problem, turning off the camera email, and letting my NAS send me alert emails.
I do like the snapshots that the camera sends with the email alerts. If we live long enough perhaps Amcrest will fix it!

Re: Email Date and Time is Wrong
your issue sounds a bit different, they seem to have resolved the one where it was a good couple of hours behind. I'm not using the "EnableDST" setting so I have not seen this myself, my cameras send me the proper time in the email now and my time zone setting is gmt-4
Re: Email Date and Time is Wrong
I have the 1080p DVR AMDV108116-S4, firmware version 3.210.AC01.8 and am having this issue. I am in EST -0500 and the timezone on the email is +0800, so the date is 13 hours off. It does not change whether or not I turn on the DST setting or not.
example header:
Date: Wed, 22 Nov 2017 22:28:22 +0800
whereas the message says:
Alarm Event: Motion Detect
Alarm input channel No.: 3
Alarm Start Time(D/M/Y H:M:S): 22/11/2017 22:28:15
example header:
Date: Wed, 22 Nov 2017 22:28:22 +0800
whereas the message says:
Alarm Event: Motion Detect
Alarm input channel No.: 3
Alarm Start Time(D/M/Y H:M:S): 22/11/2017 22:28:15
