I was experiencing the same issue with the NVR rebooting after about an hour with a network connection. Unplugged the network cable and the unit worked fine. Adding the blocking rules to my router for dh.amcrestsecurity.com fixed my reboot problem. There is definitely a firmware issue on this model...
