ok, reset works on one of them and mechanical chime is back. But it's a pita when there's a firmware update, I'll have to reset the device and re-add the device, especially when the qr code and reset button is not easily accessible unless I open the door bell

But don't you think it might be a wrong firmware if you compare the version number from the latest one being pushed to the one from last round? I have manually try each of the chime selection, Mechanical/Digital/No Chime , and it doesn't change a thing.

Is there any way to find out what went wrong from a log file? How would you guys debug a problem like to this?

I have allocated 60GB on the PC, and when I look at the Disk Management tab under PC-NVR, only 31GB was used, so it's not full at all. I've also set it so that it will overwrite old video when the storage is full.

not to mention, the mac version of surveillance pro doesn't support any nvr capability. The nvr feature only available on the pc version.
