Viewing NVR 4108 with web GUI

Post by djcalcutt »

So when looking at my nvr 4108 with the ip address, the video of each of the camera frames is too large and goes larger then the screen of my computer.

I remember when my destop did this also, and an Amcrest tech fixed my issue on line.

Does anyone remember how/what to do?

I'm using a newer laptop and the grames of each video are larger then they should be and extend beyond the screen.

THanks for the help.

You will need to go into your NVR settings this can be done over your WebUI but it will also Restart your NVR after making the change if needed past another item

I will give you an idea of something to try that may not require you to Reboot the NVR and if it does require it it will do it for you...

Log in your NVR over WebUI as stated on youR IP...
Click on the COG Gear Looking thing at the top of the Page...
Click on System
Click on Display
Then in this screen if there is the Button for Original Scale click that and Un Check them all...

Next thing if that didn't fix what the problem is inside that same Display window at the top there is going to be the Scale of your Video for output this also is for the WebUI so say if your NVR monitor is on 1080 but your computer screen is on 1280x1024 then you will want to pick that or maybe need to go to the 3rd option that is 720 I think if I remember right.. Either way that is where it will make your NVR reboot after changing that output first option I don't remember if it makes you reboot or not...

Then you need to set your Video Down to something that your Computer can handle I am not sure I have only had this issue once and after making that adjustment I didn't have the issue... I am guessing maybe it is a FW issue with your Model of NVR?

By the Way best way on WebUI to make a Photo is pressing your Widows Key and Pressing the Print Screen this will only show your screen shot and not a reflection of you in the background... and give a whole shot of your screen.. These screen shots can be found in your Pictures folder under Screen Short or if you have One Drive you can press the Alt Key and Print Screen and that will save it to your Picture and screen shot folder in your One Drive...

Yes then the screen shot is on the computer, but I’m posting with my iPhone.

I increased the screen size on the laptop, but still the GUI should be making agustment to the screen size I choose.

What happens if you hold the Windows Key down then press the Up Arrow key?
