I am working on a 70 camera system for a high rise condo building. We are using 4 of the NV5216-E NVRs. Although the NVRs will be located in the back office, they would like to have another viewing station for the bellman to watch. I would need this setup to be as bulletproof as possible so anyone can operate, and reboot without intervention if there was a power outage.
I've thought about using another NVR like a 4116E (16 ch) or 5232E (32 ch) but without an HDD. Would this be possible since the unit would be screeching all of the time without the HDD installed? Or is there a better way the doorman can cycle through and display images with view-only hardware? I'd love some recommendations!
