This Camera has been Blacklisted Grrr...

Post by Revo2Maxx »

OUCH... So today I went and picked up a few cameras from the cabin.. Some that I had in a closet that hadn't seen the light of day because early fail bought NEW from a non Auth Dealer so I couldn't get anything so it just sat that is a different matter...

At hand I took some of my IP cameras that I bought 2012 - 2014 that have just been doing their business at the cabin to the recorder there...

Anyway I took one of my 3mp camera and setup for some testing on my desk, Then made changes, one of the changes I made as I was talking with a friend about one of his camera same type different format.. Anyway I added my IP as a Trusted IP so I could log into the camera. However I failed to setup the NVR that I have to recording to the Trusted IP and tonight at 2am my time so 17 Min ago the NVR Rebooted and after I log in. All cameras come on line besides Ch7 and it says This camera has been Blacklisted lol... So I am soooo glad I just did it today or I wouldn't have remembered what I did and why I was getting this message after a reboot lol... Anyway I went into the WebUI of the Camera and added the NVR, FTP, and Cell phone IP addresses to the cameras trusted IP lol...

So in Short if you see a message on your DVR/NVR that your camera has been Blacklisted then log into your camera and add your Recorder to your trusted IP's lol...

That would be under your Camera WebUI, Setup, Network, IP Filter and if you have enabled the Trusted IP's make sure you add your recorder, FTP, login computer and anything that accesses the camera...
Be Safe.
