Surveillance Pro and LAN

Does Surveillance Pro support recording storage on any of my LAN drives? It seems like it does, as I was able to set the record location to a LAN drive; however, there are no record files present on that drive when I attempt to playback. Could this be a settings issue with my Norton firewall or some router permission issue?
