I am working on a challenging installation where we'll have to send 12-16 8MP camera images from the 22nd floor down to the main level. Since my POE switch already has SFP Fiber capability, I am thinking about locating an additional switch upstairs and linking it with the downstairs switch via Fiber and SFP Gigabit adapters. I'd be specifically using the Netgear GS324TP POE switch and 2 TrendNet SFP adapters capable of 1.25Gbps up to 10km.
Thoughts or recommendations?
