NVR won't save changes to tour
I have a 16 channel NVR. It's hooked up and working and I installed a 4 TB HDD. Right now I have 5 cameras hooked up, and I should have 6 more by the end of the weekend (rain delay!) It had the default of the 16 camera view and no tour. I turned on the tour with 4 camera view. Applied. It made no difference. I rebooted. Now it tours, but it's random. 1 camera, 8 cameras, 4, 16 - random order. I turn off the tour and it still keeps touring with this random display. I have tried changing the tour settings, applying, rebooting - a dozen times now. Still stuck on that random tour. Any suggestions?

Also - All alarms are deactivated. I also tried changing the order of the cameras.

Hello and Welcome to the Forum...
Sadly the Tour is one of the least understood feature of most Camera systems... They hardly ever work the way you want them and then most times when people tell others how to fix they say no that wasn't it but they got it working...
So 2 things need to be done.. First the Monitor and NVR need to be set at the right setting.. IF it is to small and if another setting is adjusted then you can get into a Tour that will never end because it just won't stop..
Second thing and Most important is that there is no tour by just looking at 1 tour setting. So you want to tour your cameras 1 each or you want to tour them 4 then 4 then 4 then 4?
So here is what I mean.. Log into your NVR, Then click Setting, Display, Tour. (If you don't want any single camera in the Tour Click View 1 Option, Then press the 16 at the top this will uncheck all of them(Maybe you want first 4 to single view in the tour click the top 16 and then click 1,2,3,4 Apply, Then Click View 4 check all that apply and press apply, if you don't want any on 8 view then Click the 2 at the top and click apply Don't want any of the 9 view click the 2 at the top again and press apply that will unckeck them all and if you don't want 16 view in play uncheck it and press apply... ))
Sadly you will have to press each VIEW points and either pick your choice of view for that option or remove them all for that option once you have done view 1, 4, 8, 9 and 16 options and apply after each your setup then Enable Tour apply and go.. THen at the top right if you are watching your Tour and you see something you need to stop your tour press the little thing that looks like 2 arrows chasing each other that will Lock it for the view your on and you can pick another for your needs say you needed Camera 4 but locked it on 5 you can go to SIngle View in the listing to see that camera or Scroll your mouse if you have that type of system some are some don't have that option to change channel with Scroll mouse up or down... But you get my Meaning....

I have a Tour for mine setup I hardly ever use the tour and just leave it on 9 View... Just looked at my 16ch 2116-HS and sadly the scroll wheel for that one only zooms in on the window your on So if you were to lock in a 5ch but wanted to see 4 the right click mouse, view 4 and you will be on 4... Sorry I have loads of systems and forget what ones offer what features sometimes... 3 of my other systems scroll to change channels and use the option all the time.. Sorry for the Bad info...
