NVR NV2108 ongoing issue

Post by cseymore18 »

Tried IE, Chrome, Firefox, Edge.

Cannot access my cameras on my NVR without it looking like attached picture. PLease help

Of course the Firmware has never been updated since I bought this in 2018. Time to change companies as cameras are starting to lose their connection consistently and I cannot access the DVR without directly plugging a monitor in. :( all zoomed in. I thought I remember there is a way to fix this but I cannot find it anymore. No firmware update to work with other browsers and the CHrome Amcrest Viewer app doesn't work with this NVR either.

Hello and welcome to the Forum..

So first of all.. If I have my System on a different monitor I own that is only 720 I have to change the settings on the system to work on 720 right now I have mine on a 1080p so I have mine set for 1080P

you can do this at the WebUI or at the NVR.. However Seeing your using WebUI I would change your settings to 1080 or something that your monitor can display Click the COG at the top of the Screen (Gear looking Icon) then down at Setting, Display then should be on GUI already at the top very first drop down is Screen set it for your monitor and you should be set.. Then click on the left the name of your camera to pop them up in the window you want them to appear in. You could do like I do and just click on the way they are listed click main, then next one click then main and so on until I fill my monitor with my cameras...

Well No looking at that one i thought I was on the right webUI but that was my 4108 Here is a Screen shot from my 2116-HS that could be same as yours if an HS if not then would be close to same as the 4108... To be honest I am not sure what is different in the 2108 normal and the 4108 normal other then size of case like my 2116-HS is much smaller then my 4108H one is 5mp and the smaller is 4k (SMH)

WARNING this will also change the resolution of the HDMI output of the NVR, which may kill the picture.
Cutting corners on software.
