NVR documentation

It dawned on me that there doesnt appear to be any instructive documentation for the interface in the attached screen grab. If it exists please feel free to post a link, but what stands out the most about the documentation I have found is that its written for older HDCVI technologies. The NVR is a NV4108E-HS.

For my system, the PTZ controls to the right are wasted space, but the controls to the left could have benefited by at least some mouse-over popup information. If Im looking at this screen from a computer in a different city, how would you set it up to view one or more cameras, change resolution/streams, etc?
