NVR Cameras hacked, constantly logging in/out

It looks like all my cameras are obvously hacked, when I plug the ethernet into the NVR all my cameras constantly log in/out, my log shows over 2000 logs but i copy/pasted 100 below of this from a remote device which means a mobile device correct? i only use the NVR to login, it also shows a mac conflict. not just my NVR both my pc's are getting remotely accessed and my email has been logged into, I think it might be a ddns server or port forwarding as this was setup on my dads old tigersecu dvr and reading about ddns it sounds like it, malware and antivirus scans show nothing. I know the first step is reset the router with new password, is there a way to make sure they cant view or keylog the new password? what else can I do to detect or block a ddns server? assuming pretty sure its that.

I don't want to say that you were not Hacked as I can't know that without way more info then some NVR logs that really don't say much..

Your Remote in and Out isn't what your thinking.. Remote is the Cameras My NVR data says the same thing and I can 100% tell you that I have not been hacked..

Then why do you have issues with Mac addresses? This is a good question again it would be hard to tell without more info about the system

User log in and log out is normal

What you want to look at is User Logged in and Logged out? That isn't from your known IP addresses for devices you know you use

What can you do? Well that is easy If you are really worried about being hacked. Then you will want to do a few things to start with. In truth I don't think you were. Most times if you were you would be locked out as a way to punish you..

However again if you really feel you must here are steps you need to take. Log into your Router, turn off all wifi access to the router, This means guest, and all normal SSID's. Then unplug all devices from your router besides your computer (can be a Laptop or Desktop) then do a factory Reset on the router. When you get your system back online you will have to log in again using the info on the router (most times) first thing I would do is change the SSID if you were using the stock one. So lets say it was a net gear and had something like netgear51222 so change it to something you like. Also make sure to change the Wifi to something that isn't easy to guess never use your address and name or something that is just to easy for some joker to guess. Also don't use passwords that you use on any other site away from home.. Never use the same password as anything. It could be that someone got info from a Wifi Bar or some other place that you happened to connect to by chance.

Once your system has been Reset then you can reset your NVR that is done over GUI as best case.

What NVR are you using? I have some that are older and hackable. All of the Amcrest ones I own are not Hackable in the sense of the word. Anything and everything is able to be hijacked

Here is the fastest way to do a Reset to tell the truth. Do a Admin Password Change, then when you are asked to sync with cameras say yes it will change all cameras that are able. Once done do a Export of your config for the NVR, Then factory Reset of the NVR, Set the NVR to the old New Password. Then import the Config file, (this will restore your whole system back to before your reset) Then do another admin password change again, this time also sync the new password to connected cameras and all cameras should sync again.

Double check however before you do a export that your system don't have some new user with admin access that you didn't setup yourself

Interesting..

So I just looked at one of my Amcrest NVR's Now I have some looking into my system to do. I mean I do a lot of things for testing and what not but there is no way I could see one of my systems having 1/2 a million logs in less then 22 days. Not going to say what one it is, However I do see that one of mine has had 498,843 log entries

Well took forever to DL the logs because of the size of files every day was causing. However found the issue and it was corrected about a week ago so geez I almost went crazy thinking that someone hacked mine lol. I mean there is 4 PTZ cameras on that NVR there is no way someone would hack my system and keep my cameras pointed where they are.

Mine was an issue that was caused by a bad camera. Looking at the logs the camera was disconnecting 16 times a min for 2 weeks. Ch12 and normally don't look at the higher channels unless there is an alert to do so. I have since added a disconnect alarm on that channel.
