There is no 2nd channel output for the NVR. At least there isn't for my 4216E-AI NVR. I removed my wiring to take a picture of mine as it is little different then yours. The wiring was to tight to the case and couldn't get a picture however, On mine the CTRL and P is where the second channel is on a Dahua 4216E NVR. (see second Picture)

Possible that crl p output voltage....i will used multimeter to measure the voltage...dont think it is relay contact since it is not making noise when trying to manual activate on the software...

No there is no channel 2 on mine it is constant 11.79v output from Ctrl to ground and or P to ground there is no change with alarm on or off. So looking at the Dahua 4216E, There you can see the No1 and No2 and C1 and C2 clearly. I have asked in the past and never got an answer for the question. So I always say that there is just 1 output for anyone that I talk to about the device. If I go into detail because they bought one I always just say ignore Ch2.

Ok.

So your right, CTRL if you manually or if the alarm goes off and have it setup for Output 2 CTRL will shunt. (No more 12v output)

Seeing you said you need a second output. Here is what I would do. Tomorrow go to Auto Part Store and buy a 5 pin 12v relay. If they don't have one then you will want to go to your local Mobile Audio store and ask them for a 5 pin Relay. Most times they will have 2 different types Wired and non Wired.. Personally if you don't have blade female ends I would ask for wired one. I have not bought from a Mobile Audio store for years however the parts are something they carry and some of them act like they are GOLD so cost could range from 5 to 30 depending on the brand and type. Anyway it is normally called Bosch style 5 Pin Relay. You will need the 5 pin because it has Normally Open and Normally closed format. a 4 Pin they would carry is Normally Closed only. Meaning when it is powered the pins are closed. So on a Normal 5 pin. It would have numbers like 85, 86, 87, 87a and 30. The pins you will want to use is 85 and 86 that will go to CTRL and Ground, Then for your Output you will want to use 30 and 87a. Then when Alarm 2 is active the 85 and 86 will no longer be powered and 87a and 30 will be closed..

I couldn't find any paper off hand so I had to use a Paper Towel. Then my Sharpie didn't work to well either sorry I tried..

85 and 86 are the outside coil pins. So Ground on 85, CTRL on 86 This will cause the Relay to latch (You will hear a click)
30 is Common. You will connect the main line (Ground or Power) and 87a is where you want to connect your Output. This means when Ch2 is on the relay will turn off and 30 and 87a will be connected, Once CTRL powers back on 87a and 30 will no longer be latched.

Just wanted to say I did confirm using a Bosch Style 12v 30A (they do sell 30 and 40A) the one I have is 30A, Anyway Connecting 85 to Ground, 86 to CTRL, the Relay lached and when Ch2 goes active that relay is no longer powered and I had 12v power supply connected 12v+ to Pin30 and 87a going to my 12v LEDS, and ground of the 12v power supply connected to ground of LEDS and the lights work when Alarm 2 is active

While it will work without a Diode I personally would use one just to be safe. I don't know what type of protection the Amcrest NVR has on the Alarm2. I personally didn't use one and when the Alarm 2 went from a car driving by there was a Voltage spike using a Diode between 85 and 86 will cure that issue. If the Relay and wire harness they sale you don't already have one installed. Normally if on harness it will be in close to the plastic connector

Also thought I would or should mention something..

With setting up your system like this when the Power to the NVR is removed, being reboot that Relay will go into the NC format. IF your going to connect to a Siren I personally would not connect to Ch2. Every time your System reboots (I have mine reboot every night at mid night) that means the alarm would be going off. Only down side about making an alarm out like this.

I reboot my NVR every night because I use my NVR in AI Mode and I get a Count of AI events for human and vehicle every day. Seeing the count resets every midnight I figured that is best time to do a reboot. For today last 13 hours 285 cars and 13 humans detected.
