Is there a easy way to change this? The unit is not on internet, only hooked to a monitor. All I want to do is change the password.

I am not sure I understand totally...
However if your looking to change your account Admin password...
Go to Setttings, System, Account and then you will have your user list there... Then you can click on a user or admin and then the Pencil icon. You will need to know the Password to change to a new one... Also not all systems but some you can turn off the need to use a password. Still one would be needed if you access from outside and such...
TO turn off the Auto Logout feature it is settings, system General there should be a Auto Log out... Put that to 0 min and the system once logged on won't log you out...
While I don't remember where the Password thing is. This might need to be done on the Setup Wizard... You can under the General tab click on the Startup Wizard button and next time it starts up it will give you the Wizard again. I think inside of there is a toggle to turn on or off the need for a Password...
I might be wrong about that as it might be a Feature of my other Brand DVR... I guess I could always do a Factory Reset and see what happens lol...
