Hi, I have two questions about the web UI for the NV4108E-A2 NVR:
1) How do I change the resolution of live view. Right now it appears to be defaulting to the low-res image for each camera I view.
2) I have 5 cameras hooked up. When I click Fast Live, it shows cameras 1-4 in the 4 windows. How can I view cameras 5-8, etc? I don't see any arrow icons to shift forward or backward 4 cameras at a time to move through them.
Thanks!
NV4108E-A2 Web UI Resolution and Live View
Re: NV4108E-A2 Web UI Resolution and Live View
So I have the older system and might be a Software issue for your A2. However one of the things I like on my AI NVR is that it loads all Windows in Sub1. What I don't like about my 4116E-HS, 4108E-HS, 4108-HS is that when I look at 9 view it will try to load them on in Main view and then I get a Black screen in 1 or 2 of the windows unless it happens to on it own pop up and say Over Decode and change it on its own.. IF it don't change to S1 here is how you should be able to do it if there wasn't an issue from your FW package..
You said you look at 1-4 and are coming in in Low Res (You using a 4K monitor?) Anyway if you want to change them and if the device is able to run in Main in Grid view then you can move your mouse to the top of the window of the cameras grid. A little menu should pop up when you look to far right it should show S1 if you mouse over it should drop down and show M, S1, S2. Click on M and your NVR should change to main for that camera you will need to do that to all the cameras you want to view in main.
Next you ask about your 5-8 cameras view. With your Mouse on GUI Right Click and go to view4 then there should be 2 option for 1-4 and 5-8. Also there should be a 1-9 view on the 9 area and that will pop up all windows and a 9th showing how much bandwidth each camera are using.. Some and yours should also have a View8 as well. This will pop up 8 windows with 1 being large M view and others normally would be S1 view.. Now for what I do is if you double click one of the smaller windows it will pop it to the large one leaving the others in S1 view (How is should work) (That is how my 4216E-AI works) however in my 4116E-HS that isn't the real case. it seems to load a mix match of S1 and M to fit it's playback needs lol I don't like that because it makes some of my cameras not display or freeze.
