nv2108-hs NVR automatically drops resolution on 4mp cameras to 1080

Hello

I have the nv2108-hs wired to a Netgear Poe switch and I have a total of 5 cameras installed so far.
3 @ 4MP
2 @ 1080

The 1080 cameras are setup for 1080 at 30fps and work well

The three 4MP cameras should all be the same (same model number). Two of them seem to drop the 4MP resolution (2592x1520) back to 1080 automatically. While the other 4MP camera works without any issues, ever.

I have logged into them via ip and check settings as well as the nvr ip.

I have tried anything I can think of. Am I missing something here? This is my first introduction to h265 but I don't see how that would have any issue here.

Hello and welcome to the Forum.

So first off in my mind the question is Did you ever look at the Amcrest Cloud with any of your cameras that this issue is with? If you have the Cloud all changes in the Camera need to be done at the Cloud or the Cloud will change things back at its will.

Second Anything other then the Encoding changes at the NVR being made?

Like do you log in from IE or Chrome and look at the camera over that maybe used PC-NVR or some other software to record? Any changes that you make on WebUI is going to happen in NVR and such...

So set up Camera the way you want them. Then with in 4hours look at the settings and see if they have changed. If they did change go to the WebUI and look at the LOGS of the Camera that is making this change.

All changes will have Admin System or Nothing in the area of user. this will help point out where the changes are being made.
