Hi,
I've getting "No disk" abnormality on AMDV7208.
The HDD is present. I've checked with a USB ATA Bridge that I can access the HDD. I've created a FAT32 partition on the HDD. Still I'm getting the same error. I've also checked the data cable - it's ok. The HDD is powered fine - I can hear it.
I've flashed the firmware. Still same "No disk" message!
Once thing that I noticed is that the power led is not working. When switch on the power button at back, there is a beep, the fan kicks in and then the fan switches off. The red LED inside the casing stays on. Nothing boots. I leave it for sometime "power on" and flick the power switch again. Then the whole thing boots up. I think that a capacitor may have gone somewhere on the board.
Anybody come across something similar?

Haven't come across that, I have a Dead one... That Screams at me when i turn it on and the RED led in side stays on... Other then then I haven't looked it over yet to find the fault I have others that are in use so it is backup and will play with it at some point... It too is a 8ch..
