i have the model NV5216 NVR and when I use the HDMI output i have no audio on any of the multiple camera display views, such as when I have 4 cameras displayed on my screen. I only get audio if I have a single camera view, so only one camera on the screen. Has anyone else experienced this too? seems like a big feature miss.
The strange thing is that in the display settings they allow one to mix the audio, or selected a particular camer's audio to be chosen, but again the audio is only heard when you display one camera view. and to be more specific, I do'nt expect to hear all 4 camera audio at the same time while viewing a 4 view camera display, on my CIB NVR for instance, when I click on one of the 4 cameras on the display view the audio is switched to that camera.
thanks
No audio on HDMI using split screen
Re: No audio on HDMI using split screen
Hello and Welcome to the forum.
So I can't say I have an answer, What I do know is on all of my systems DVR/NVRs that I have from Amcrest or Dahua and or even my Hikvision hardware they all work on GUI on Single Channel. Now I didn't look at all my Hikvision systems because they are all Remote to me and would be though the WebUI or App. So on my 4216E-AI that would be the closest to your 52xx and even that is debatable. It only works in Single Channel mode.
However in using the WebUI I can enable all Speakers in IE for each of my cameras be it my 4108E-HS, 4108-HS, 4116E-HS, 4216E-AI, 7108-AI and my 8M16-H5 recorders and when I click on the window for that camera the audio will play for that camera. Also tested a couple of Dahua recorders that I have local on the GUI and none of them will work outside of the single channel for audio unless they are on WebUI.
As I said in WebUI using IE, I can bring up all my cameras in the Recorder, click on the speaker in each channel and when I click that camera to make the square green as active I can hear the audio..
