Need Power Supply

Post by randoguy »

For NVR - the 12V version - can't find mine, lost it in the move. Does someone have one they can walk over and take a look - and give me a part number?

As much as I'd like to think any 12V supply will do - I've got about 4 here, none fit the hole.

Amcrest chat did not help.

Thanks in advance!

My guess is that you have the POE version of the NVR seeing you said you tried 4 different 12v and didn't fit. In my 12v normal NVR any 12v I plug in works. POE NVR on the other hand is different because it's 48v not 12.

What is the model number? Anyway looking at back you would know if it's POE because it will have mote than 1 ethernet port. One by it self and then block of 4 or 8 for cameras.

Normal NVR 12v
POE NVR 48v

Thanks Revo - it is definitely the 12V version, not 48, I've got it right here - NV4108

Ya gotta believe me, the 12V adapters I have at home (just lying around, as for various other nonsense - like my blue-tooth outdoor speakers) do not fit this hole.

Maybe it's bad luck, but I just need a random part number I can amazon.
