Long delay between alarm event and actual snap shot
Long delay between alarm event and actual snap shot
Just installed a system consisting of an NV4108E NVR and IP8M-T2499EB-40MM cameras. I have the system set up with motion detection / email. One camera covers the front of my shop and most of the long driveway to my house, another camera covers the back of my shop, sidewalk from shop to house, and the front porch / front door of the house. When I exit the shop or house an alarm event is triggered just like it should however the snapshot that is sent to me is delayed so long that i've already made the 10 second walk and entered the other building before the photo is taken. Same thing with the driveway camera, postman dropped off packages this morning, pulled into the driveway, walked to the house, dropped packages, and the snapshot was him backing out of the driveway.... as proof the alarm event happened at 8:23am, text from USPS delivery happened at 8:24am, snapshot time stamp was 8:24am a full minute after the alarm. What is going on here?

You could try setting up Push Notifications in the Amcrest View Pro app on your phone. Perhaps it would be more timely for you.
