Love my NVR system,but data plan does not. Right now not connected to internet,recording motion alerts to hard drive only. Is there a way to get motion alerts to my phone and no live video? If this is possible it should only use small amount of data. Maybe have the option to view a alert if wanted,its hard to believe its 2019 and I only get 16 gig of data a month. Was looking at the Amcrest doorbell but no way my plan will do it. Any suggestions appreciated on a way around this.

Well I am not sure if I am thinking in the right line. However if you bring up your Amcrest View Pro. On the left side is 3 lines with 3 dots infront Click that, Then click Push Notifications, Then if the Configuration and Event List comes up press Configuration. Or it might give you the camera list. Either way click the camera you want to configure. Then a Toggle will come up press it to enable it. Another list will load. Then Push type. maybe just image as option. While I do get alerts and get Emails I have turned off Emails for now. Only do Push and with this I can refer to the Event List. This gives me a idea of where I need to look back on the Camera MSD, Or my DVR and or my FTP server. In your case it would be so you have a idea where you need to look at your NVR to see if there is anything of Interest.
