How can I turn off NVR cameras with ViewPro?
How can I turn off NVR cameras with ViewPro?
I'd like to figure out how I can remotely turn all my cameras off using ViewPro on Android. Any ideas? Rick from Kansas.

Hello and welcome to your first post.
What NVR do you have?
There are some that with right FW you could turn off system however you would have to use WebUI to do so.
Why would you want to? Not very secure security if someone away from recorder could turn it off.

Sometimes I like to come home unannounced. Just want to disable the cameras, not power down NVR. There must be a simple way with admin permissions. Thanks

Ive got a 4108 and a 4116.

Well 4108 or 4116 would that be E, H, HS, A2 sorry not trying to be hard just trying to understand your needs better.
Personally there should never be a case where someone should need to Circumvent a Security Recorder to come home or a business and any thing that can be done outside of what I have already posted in the past as a Security Flaw there is only 2 other ways and both area VERY Short in time and personally wouldn't really offer a great benefit. That would be to Reboot the system and or Format the HDD of some systems Not all systems but some, if you Format the HDD the system Reboots and to be honest best to just Reboot the system from the start without loosing all your stored data... However some systems don't have a Reboot from WebUI and again I find a Security Flaw.. That is why I posted both options because older 4108H or 4108E don't have Reboot from WebUI so only option is Format doing so Reboots the system.
IF your NVR is not E based and your cameras are on your local network best to just Reboot them by doing a Format of the Micro SD again it would not work on all cameras as some don't reboot after a format and others do. However most cameras offer Reboot from WebUI so Reboot would be best option again fast and so your Enter time would be limited. So no Great Benefit
