H5 NVR password reset - Easyview

Hi

I am trying to reset the password but easyview will not let my samsung android phone scan the image..

This has already been a 7+ hour affair on the phone with tech support over 2 days..

Also how come the hard drive cannot be removed and seen in windows 10 to copy the saved data?

Hello and Welcome to the Forum

It is because the HDD is in a NVR setup under Unix format and isn't easy seen in Windows without some work around...

If you need to Reset your NVR Password as long as your at the NVR and it is connected to the Internet.. Amcrest support if at the office level because of some new Outbreak in areas there might be less Support in the office... However if you are connected to the internet and give them your SN they might be able to get you are temp Password to help you change it to one that will work for you...

If you open the NVR and there is a Switch inside there is at times a way you can get it to reset sadly it isn't just a Press and hold of the button there is a Series you would have to do to make it Reset... Again they can get you the info you need to Reset it either way...
