Hello all.. I am looking for people that have the 2019 or 2020 FW installed for their NVR and I guess DVR's as well. I don't have all the systems so it is hard to Know what Model has the issue but looking to see if people would be willing to state what model they have if it isn't already on the list and if it has the issue... To me there is no need for a NVR or DVR to have an ability to turn off the device by Remote.. Right now I know 2 models that has this issue and I have passed this onto Amcrest Support.. So I wanted to find out if there is more then just the 2 models I know of right now 5216 and 2116-hs
Here is what you would need to do. Log into your WebUI for your NVR by going to Chrome, type in your DVR/NVR's Ip address and log in using admin...
At the Top right is the little Door Icon click that and see if only Logout is there or if Reboot and Shut Down is there as well.. You can Right Click the image and open in new tab to see 1080 sized picture
Right Now I know these 2 If yours has Shutdown please let me know here Thank you...

DVR/NVR's with 2019 or 2020 FW installed Question..
Re: DVR/NVR's with 2019 or 2020 FW installed Question..
So I was going to make a Video of the WebUI for the new FW to try and help others get a understanding how it looks and what and where things are so they can get though it faster.. I then noticed that I had no audio so I moved onto just making it a video about how to add an admin account for the people that need or want to have others with admin but not have the ability to turn off the system by accident by remote access to the system.. So you can check out the video if you like and it starts around 1:10.. Sorry about Mistakes I didn't edit this it was all in all from start to finish... 1 Mistake was when making a password lol. I thought it was mistake of first one was entered wrong so I changed it and sure enough that was the issue but that is what I am talking about in mistakes lol...
Edit I just watched the Video and now I know why I had no audio I had the Mic set to my Living room mic and not at my PC where I made this Sorry so anyone that might hear Background of the tv that was playing..
