Is it possible for the Tour scroll (full-screen) to work with only two POE IP5M cameras running on P1 and P2? No matter what I check/un-check, delete, etc. on the Tour page, the software is determined to scroll through all 8 channels in one fashion or another.
Attached are three pics...Version screen with all the relevant hardware/firmware/software info, Main screen and Tour screen.
I've had this package in the box for the past year or so and I'm finally getting around to getting it installed, but regardless, a feature like scrolling through only active channels should be a basic function I would think.
I've downloaded the PDF manual, but it really doesn't seem that intuitive to me. Either I'm missing something basic, or it's not a feature that is possible.
Any assistance is appreciated.
Thanks,
Tim

Re: Configuring Tour on NV4108E-HS?
Hello and Welcome to the Forum..
So to be honest the Tour page is a PITA... I would try to forget it is there... I know that isn't helpful..
Then what can you do? Well the good news is there is an option that you might want to try.. Go to main menu, Alarm, Video Detection, then choose your channel. Enable, setup your Region, then down under Period/Schedule toward the bottom is Tour. Click that and then click Setting make sure it is set for the Channel your on then click Apply. Now every time there is motion it will bring up that screen full screen and stay there for as long as you have Motion and or have Anti Dither setup for.
Just keep in mind that if you setup on a channel that has B/W at night and it rains or has loads of bug traffic there will be loads of false alerts.
IF you got your system setup and messed up to where what I posted here don't work to show only your channel that is installed and the one detecting the motion then there was something that you changed on the Tour screen that you were messing with before and if that is the case then the best thing you can do to make life easier for you is to Reset your NVR back to Factory and setup your 2 channels again. Messing with the Display Tour Window can be a Nightmare..
Good Luck

So I might have been wrong, as I can't remember for sure. However it might be that a setting you want to change on the Menu you were on at Main Menu, Display is the Interval if you need more time. I don't think Anti Dither has anything to do with the tour time... Outside of that one last thing as well.
Don't have to do a full Reset to factory unless it will be needed.. What you should do first however is go to the Main Menu, Display, Tour and at the bottom of that Screen is Default. Press it and Apply. Then after that go to the Main Menu, Alarm, Motion Detection, and setup your Tour and it should work as expected. Again if you want it to tour longer then change only Interval back at the display, tour screen to fit your needs..

Found this from 2015. It explains what to do and now it works perfectly...
