AMDV72016 Single beep and glowing red light inside

Hi everyone,

My seven year old AMDV72016 is doing a single beep every few minutes, along with a glowing red light internally. I haven’t opened it up, rather I can see it through the vents. Can’t access it via the web nor is anything being displayed on the HDMI out. Is it toast? Anything I should try?

It is seven years old so maybe it’s just past its life span.

Sounds dead. I would take top off remove cable from HDD and turn on and see if it starts with out HDD connected

Alright I tried it without the HDD. Exactly the same. Guess it’s a goner. Got about 7 years out of it so I can’t complain.
