Post by Rgj34169 »

Since I can't get a reply from Amcrest Support Web concerning bad Motion Event Capture: everything on screen causing event when only Area Outside door Selected Day or night any side of the Screen will cause a record.
Submitted 2 tickets they were combined with a ticket concerning house doorbell not working...
No Reply
Does anybody have this combination working and Motion Working Right???
Please reply... Ready to return Doorbell. NVR looks like it works great.

Adding motion Area Clips.

Thanks Joe

Did you try setting up the motion area in the Amcrest Smart Home app? I have my AD110 setup and connected to my NVR. Motion sensing works just fine for me. Notifications come through on the Smart Home app and the motion detection triggers my NVR as well.

Sadly I don't know I was going to write up something when this was posted but I don't know I wanted some more testing and still over the weekend with all the testing, NVR and camera Resetting and all the things that I could think of nothing changed the fact that it false alerts for everything.. I changed it down to 1 bar at the bottom and still gets every car that drives by.. The road is 5 grid bars past the one set.. It isn't Reflections or anything like that... I have a car coming down the road I can't even see it yet and I see the motion icon on the screen... I removed it from the NVR thinking ok lets see how that works with 1 bar.. Still loads of motion when there was nothing in the grid.

So at this time> i have it connected back to my NVR and record full time and take motion off.
Be Safe.
