I just started the configuration of my NV4116-HS and have come across what I would consider a bug. When configuring Alarms (specifically motion since that's all I'm interested in right now) I found that I cannot make and save any changes for a user account I created and added to the admin group on the NVR via the web UI. If I login as the default, built-in admin account I can make and save changes. I haven't tried this on the console, but it seems to me a secondary admin account with full privileges should be able to make those changes. Am I missing something?

Admin vs. Admin Group
Re: Admin vs. Admin Group
Hello and Welcome to the forum
To be honest that is very interesting. There are so many things that needs to be fixed that I have pointed out even making a Video to point them out and while the issue that you show isn't on the top of the list it is another something that isn't right about these..
So I just Checked 3 of my NVR's I didn't log into them all after trying these 3 I am guessing all of them are the same issue.. However on my 4216E-AI, 4116e-HS, 2108E-HS that is how they all are. I will admit after setting up the first second admin account, I thought odd that I can't even see the grid info thought ok maybe need to Reboot first, I Reboot and now I can see the Grid data and I can change the grid data but still can't change Record ability for the channel..
While I have pointed out some other issues with having a second admin account that is one thing I have never tired to access while on a second admin account..
Personally it is bad idea to have other accounts on these devices.
Ok so now for some really strange things.. While I can't make them changes Remotely I can make changes at the NVR's while logged into that second admin account on the NVR's GUI.. So it might have something to do with security and someone making changes to the NVR's ability to record while not really being a FULL admin by Remote.. Again I can change while logged in GUI of the NVR just can't make the changes in NVR over Remote WebUI log in...
