42xx-AI or 41xx-A2 Best options?

So seeing this is going to come up sometime I thought I better head this one off at the pass..

First thing to understand. the 41xx-A2 is a NVR that will work with AI cameras and use the features off the camera only

The 42xx-AI is a AI NVR that has built in channels with AI use with normal non ai cameras. So you can take like my 4216E-AI and connect a 841, 941, 1051 or any camera in the Amcrest line up and use it with Tripwire, intrusion or Face Detection. Where the 4116E-A2 if you want to use them features you will need a camera with them already. Like the 1046EW-AI would give you the ability for Face Det, Rec, tripwire, intrusion, fast moving and many more options.

Also note
4116E-A2 is a 16ch 8Port POE no AI built in (Only cameras with AI will provide IVS rules)
4216E-AI is a 16Port POE with Power Supply built into the NVR has 4ch AI built in.. 2HDD Spaces

So you have a AD410 and use Human Detection, this will work in both the A2 and AI models

At this time and I can't say if it was an oversight or if it was intended but my 4216E-AI doesn't have SMD and from what it sounds like the 4116E-A2 or 41xx-a2 version sounds like it does. In truth using 4 ch AI built in the NVR makes up for it and does offer Human and Vehicle detection using IVS rules anyway..

Down side besides all the issues that is in 4.0fW DVR/NVR's the one thing that kind of upsets me about the AI hardware is Chrome don't display the Rules and some of the other features that I used all the time so I have to use IE.
Next issue is the View Pro app don't offer IVS push notices so having hardware that helps keep false alarms down you don't get notices in push because not offered in app (Been told it is coming)

The one thing I wish was offered and really I think it should be offered in the 4216E-AI is that one channel could do Face Detection and the rest could do IVS as it is now Face or IVS.. Maybe that is something different in the 41xx-A2 however I think it will work the same. I know that on my 7108-AI DVR it is Face or IVS or SMD one don't work with the other..
