Re: Windows Install - MSVCR100.dll is missing error
hi @bloort and welcome to the forum. i got curious after reading your post because my new notebook arrived last week and it came with windows 10 so i downloaded the install program from here, https://s3.amazonaws.com/amcrest-files/ ... 161018.exe.
it installed fine and the program is working without ever asking me for a missing msvcr100.dll. i'm unable to replicate the error.

thank you. i found it. anouther case of me getting frustrated and not reading far enough down the page. i'm up and running...except for the UAC alert each time surveillance pro is started. small annoyance, but liveable, unless you have a magic trick for that to?

there is a "type here to search" on the left. type "change user account control settings" and change your uac settings from the control panel. then reboot.

MSVCR100.dll missing error - SOLUTION:
The answer is to install BOTH the 64-bit (x64) AND the 32-bit (x86) versions of the C++ 2010 distributable
Even if your O/S is a 64-bit install, you MUST install the 32-bit version of the C++ library. This answer came up earlier and is buried in the thread.
