Where's the snapshot and log

I have a AMDV10808 DVR. On the Motion Detect tab of Events I:

Enable Motion Detect for a camera
Click Snapshot, hiliting the camera
Click Show Message and click Log
Save it all

I also enable Motion Detect in the Alarm section

I then trigger a motion event which triggers an Alarm log entry.

But where is the snapshot stored? It doesn’t go to the folder identified in the Camera: Encode: Path location.

And where does the log entry go? It doesn’t go to the only log I can find on the Info screen.

Hello,

The snap shot and log can be accessed from the Monitor/TV that is directly connected to the DVR. In the search interface, you can select the record type as either 'REC' or 'PIC' . You can select PIC for the snapshots.

So the snapshot nor log is available from the Web interface, only when direct connected to the DVR?

Same question for me but I'm using an NVR4108.

Where do the snap shots go? I only have web GUI, I do not have a monitor connected directly to the NVR. Can I search and view snapshots in the web GUI?

Hello markcm,

You can view the images from the web GUI by going to playback > More and from there select images and search. So in the playback screen you need to click on the 'More' tab.

Ok, I can find the snapshot files in the web GUI by opening Playback, clicking File List in the lower right, then the MORE button, then selecting TYPE: Picture. Is it possible to view the snapshot in the web GUI? I see an option to download pictures but can I view them without downloading? If not, can this option be added?
