Is there a setting I'm missing that would keep all the playbacks in sync? I see the "SYNC" button on my monitor when using the DVR with the mouse... but I do not see this button on the web interface.
Web Playback will not sync
Web Playback will not sync
Hello, I have recently installed a 720P amcrest 4 channel dvr and 4 cameras. The system works great using the mouse and monitor set up... however when I try to play back footage through the web interface on internet explorer I'm having issues. The clips are not in sync, so if I click on the timeline only one camera will start playing footage while the others are starting from the beginning.
Is there a setting I'm missing that would keep all the playbacks in sync? I see the "SYNC" button on my monitor when using the DVR with the mouse... but I do not see this button on the web interface.

Hello,
On the play back interface, make sure all the 4 channels are selected and select the proper date and do a search. You should be able to play back each channel on the four different windows. Try clicking on the channel number on the left side and click on one of the boxes and then try to playback.

Re: Web Playback will not sync
Can you explain how to "select all of the channels" ?
I have all 4 channels viewable in the 4 different viewports. However if I click on the timeline only one of the channels will move while the others continue to play from the beginning. I want them all to move and stay in sync so I can see someone walk out of view in one camera into another. I can't figure out how to move the entire timeline bar and not just one channel's timeline.

Here's an image trying to explain what I'm talking about... If I click on the timeline near channel 3 in playback with all 4 channels shown in the above window only channel 3's timeline will move while the others continue to play from the beginning of the selected time segment.
Re: Web Playback will not sync
Hello,
I see what you mean. Sorry if it caused any confusion but this is how the playback interface works at the moment. We will put this forward as a suggestion to the R&D department. Apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused.

Re: Web Playback will not sync
I found this thread when having this same issue. When someone walks from one camera to another it's impossible to sync 2 or more camera timelines together when scrubbing through the interface.
I wish I bought a different system.
This must be changed. It's been 3 years now. How is this not a critical priority?this is how the playback interface works at the moment

Re: Web Playback will not sync
Option is available from the device itself (has a checkbox to sync) but that defeats the point of remote management via web interface. Still not able to do via web interface almost 5y after this thread was created.
