Variable video delay from IP2M-858 camera
I'm trying to do a live stream from my IP2M-858 camera synced with a separate audio stream. I can set the delay between the audio and video in OBS, but I believe that the camera is not always sending the video with the same delay each time I can correct the audio delay but the next time I run it it can be off by almost a second with nothing else changing. Is there any way to control this and make it consistent, at least?

See if there is anything in this long thread that could help you.

If using camera wifi, it may be causing the problem. Try a wired connection.

Re: Variable video delay from IP2M-858 camera
I'm using the camera wifi which its primary way to connect to it. The delay is consistent for the entire recording. Just a little different each time, so it seems to be determined at the connect time, not due to variability on the wifi while broadcasting. I've looked at this thread but it is mostly for a changing delay over time. Thanks.

When connecting from Wifi there are a load of things that can come into play that would or could make a bad or undesirable video... For this it is best to have a MSD on the camera so it could be removed to see if footage from MSD is same as the footage on a recorder or over your connection in playback or live view..
Cable from Router to NVR/DVR or what ever is being recorded too could be the cause of issue as well...
One thing that laods of people don't know with IOT of today and all the Bluetooth devices there are loads of things that can share a Ch of your Wifi Path and for anything that is taking the same ch at the same time as your devices can cause issues... Best way to know if your playing back MSD footage is to play it from the MSD and not over WIFI...
