I have an IPM-723 that is mounted outdoors. It's connected through my WiFi and range is fine, latency is < 10 ms, which is good.
I have a QNAP NAS that I want to write the recordings to. I currently just have an SD card in it. As soon as I setup the camera in Surveillance station, latency jumps to well over 3000ms, and I just cannot connect to even the web interface.
I've also tried Blue Iris software and the same thing. As soon as that software connects to it, I cannot connect to the camera. Has anybody seen this issue?
I currently have 4 other cameras and they all work fine. I use Surveillance station for the recordings, but use the camera itself for email alerts and snapshots.
