I would like to use my Amcrest IP cam with a smart outlet. My theory is that when I am home, I can turn the power to the camera 'OFF' with the use of the smart outlet. When I am leaving the house, I can turn the smart outlet 'ON' and the camera should power on. Is this do-able? Can I have it start recording as soon as it is powered on without having to go into the app?
