I have not been able to successfully access my cameras through the amcrestview.com user and device portals. Through the user portal I have been able to successfully add both cameras and their status is green. When I click on the eyeball to view the page fails to load and returns Message from webpage Login failed!. I’ve checked the username and password entered for each camera. When I attempt to access through the device portal, I receive the same Message from webpage Login failed!.
I have been able to view video from each camera via all of the following:
• custom.amcrestddns.com:port
• externalipaddress:port
• amcrestcloud.com
• Amcrest View Pro App
With the exception of the app, I am using internet explorer. So I can’t figure out why I am not able to access via amcrestview.com when every other method works fine.
I have UPnP enabled. The http, tcp, and udp ports are forwarded on my modem/router.
Any insight/suggestions are appreciated.

Re: unable to view cameras via amcrestview.com
Amcrestview.com is only for P2P cameras. Amcrest P2P server is accessed by device and viewing client to coordinate connection using camera serial number. Perhaps your camera was not setup with P2P.
You could also try Amcrest View Pro which can use IP/Domain or P2P.

Thank you - I think you have me on the right path.jack7 wrote:Amcrestview.com is only for P2P cameras. Amcrest P2P server is accessed by device and viewing client to coordinate connection using camera serial number. Perhaps your camera was not setup with P2P.

I set up each camera using the Amcrest View Pro app on my iPhone . When I access each camera under Device Manager the type is P2P. But under amcrestview.com the type of each is listed as IPC. So I assume to function correctly each needs to show up on amcrestview.com as a type of P2P? Do you have any suggestions on what I can do to accomplish this?
I've checked under Setup > Network > TCP/IP > P2P and the Enable boxed is checked for P2P. Is there something else I need to disable under settings to make the P2P function? I also have DDNS provider checked and UPnP Enabled.

Watch this video to see if you see anything that you need to do, like possibly turning off popup blocking.

Correction to my other post:
Surveillance Pro is a PC program that displays multiple cameras and does more than amcrestview.com. It will take a little more time to learn. I actually do not use amcrestview.com.

I meant to say Amcrest Surveillance Pro. Not View Pro.jack7 wrote:You could also try Amcrest View Pro which can use IP/Domain or P2P.
