I purchased two IP2M-841 cameras and connected them to an android phone, i-phone; and could view them on a Windows PC. About 3 weeks later I added a IP3M-956 and connected that to the phones and PC. All worked well for about a 3 days. Then neither phone could connect to the two IP2M-841s. I got the "Failed to connect message" for both cameras. The IP3M-956 could be connected to and viewed by all three devices. I deleted both IP2M-841s from the android phone and sucessfully added them. However, when I tried to view them I got the "Failed to connect" message on the phone. The IP3M-956 continued to work, and all three cameras can be viewed on the PC. The phones use Amcrest View Pro. What should I do?
One more piece of information. I have been trying to connect using my home Wi-Fi network. I have also tried to connect using my 4G LTE and got the same "Failed to connect" message.

Re: Unable to View Cameras on Phones
Hello cwalins ,
If you can login to the web interface of the camera from PC, go to set up > Video and ensure that the sub stream is enabled. If it is not, you might face this issue.

Re: Unable to View Cameras on Phones
The substream was enabled for both cameras. For both cameras I disabled the substream saved the configuration, then enabled it and saved the configuration. This did not solve the problem. Then I cycled power to one of the cameras and waited. The IP Configure did not find the camera. I checked the starting address and it was correct. I opened the cable modem's web page and noted that this camera was not found by the cable modem. The other two cameras were found. One of which has the original problem and the other which works. As a last resort I cycled power to the cable modem, no improvement. Any ideas? Could the cable modem be at fault?
Re: Unable to View Cameras on Phones
Hello cwalins ,
Please try hard resetting the camera that does not work. You will then have to reset up the camera through the phone app or computer. Also check under network settings for the camera if the p2p is enabled and online.

Re: Unable to View Cameras on Phones
I had a similar issue, I enabled the Extra Steam (sub stream) and mine started working. Thanks.
Sorry that doesn't help the OP but it might help others.

Re: Unable to View Cameras on Phones
I pressed the reset button and held it until the button turned red. I released it and eventually it started to blink green. It has been several hours now and it it is still blinking green. I believe it should be a steady green. Should I continue with the remainder of the procedure you sent me, or is there another course of action I should take?

Hello cwalins ,
Since you reset the camera , you will have to set up the camera again by repeating the process you did initially. Please contact support if you are having trouble.
