Unable to connect to View Pro on Android version 6.0

All was well until i had to delete the app on my phone. Later when I installed a newly downloaded app I couldn't get it to connect to the cam. IP2M-5418-UK. IP address and port are the same as I use on the laptop with webview which works perfectly. It accepts the serial number and user and password but just can't connect.

I am having the same similar problem with the IP2M-842W. I can see the camera on my network, the camera functions fine in blue iris, but can't install it into Amcrest View Pro. I too am at a loss.

I see there have some more recent new posts raised on this and seems to be a common problem. Seems to be unstable on on Webview so of no use if thats what you bought it for!
