Hi -
I have a Amcrest ProHD Outdoor 1080p Bullet Camera IP2M-842. It is hardwired to the network and has a static IP. It functions fine with the Amcrest View app on the iPhone, however, whenever I attempt to connect with the Surveillance Pro application on my laptop or desktop it seems to knock the camera off the network and it is no longer accessible to any application until I close the Surveillance Pro program.
A few points:
- the Surveillance Pro program never sees the IP2M-842 camera as connected
- I also have a dome IP2M-841B camera on the network connected wirelessly, which functions without any issue
- the Surveillance Pro program sees the IP2M-841B camera and connects appropriately
- the IP2M-842 camera is no longer able to be connected to by any application after starting the Surveillance Pro program although my router shows it as connected with the correct IP address
- cannot login to the camera directly with the IP address while the Surveillance Pro program is running
Thanks for the help
Gordon
