Hello... So I tried to Reboot the camera and even turned off the feature adding it back in and turned it back on and still didn't help
So Right now my New FW 841 as of today I noticed that it was acting strange and falling behind my other cameras in my system setup... I just delt with it because well sometimes it just like to act like a POS but normally fixes it self... Well tonight it isnt fixing anything and even after a Reboot, Modem Reboot, Computer Reboot, Camera reboot, DVR reboot, PC-NVR reboot this thing is just ticking me off lol...
So besides the Time falling behind by 20 seconds... It will stall at times and get back to about 40sec behind and then you can see it speedup but stays 20 seconds behind... I tell Computer to set time it does, I have my DVR sync time with all cameras and it does and yet this camera don't lol
I turned off PC-NVR, FTP, turned off my MSD by not recording to it at all. I deleted it out of my DVR and turned back on PC-NVR still don't want to sync with anything
However all in all it seems odd that all this issue along with some Strange Overlay issues as well... Last time Amcrest Logo came up this time that isn't the issue Today big issue and what I turned off and back on yet the poor camera is confused and that is IPC in the bottom left corner is Under what I had typed there NewFW-841 yet you can't make out the New or the IPC.... So I turned off the feature then took out and it just don't want to go away....
Good news is the Presets are still in and right lol...
Strange New FW 841
Re: Strange New FW 841
So I like to Abuse myself I guess you could say lol.. So Tonight I updated another 841 to have the NEW as of 2019 anyway FW because I want to see if I can have the same issue with the second one that I do with the first one with the NEW FW...
So here is some strange things right off...
1 The camera that I put the NEW FW on was from 2015. Right off I find that so far the Update went great... Oddly things didn't go as expected on the Reset after the Update.. Seeing the camera put into the Web browser what IP it thought it would have... However the Camera kept the same IP that I had it normally set at and don't even have it set in my Router to keep it Static as I do my other ones... Nice but odd lol
2. The issues that I had right off with the other camera this one don't have that same issue. Meaning the PTZ of the camera is very smooth and don't over shoot the target zone like my other 841 with the NEW FW...
So to keep all these cameras with Names I know what is what I will have the 2015 in the name of this camera as it is the oldest camera... The other one is from 2016 and the one with NEW FW first was from 2018 or late 2017 I can't remember i would have to look at the box again.... So far things acting well... Will have to give it some time and after a Normal Weekly Reboot and see what happens...
Humm I did update the password to something Strange and out of my Scope of Normal scheme. I have to go fix FTP and PC-NVR to reflect the new changes...
Also an update on the one in the picture above... It still BROKE lol... Still has IPC and the Name Mixed together Geez.....
